4.     Schedule of Events

 

a)  Registration day

 

                   Date:     February 12, 2009 (Thursday)

                   Venue:  KDA Honbu Dojo

                                Shopwise, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City

                   Time:    10:00 am – 6:00 pm     

 

b)    International meeting for ISKF member countries.

 

Date:     February 13, 2009 (Friday)

Venue:  To be announced

Time:    10:00 am – 12:00nn

 

c)     Dan ranking examinations.

 

Date:     February 13, 2009 (Friday)

Venue:  KDA Honbu Dojo

                                Shopwise, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City

 

Time:    7:00pm – 9:00pm

 

d)    Master’s clinic

 

Date:     February 14, 2009 (Saturday)

Venue:  Xavier Sports Complex

   Xavier School, San Juan, Metro Manila

Time:    9:00am – 10:30am  (Black belt Class)

             10:45am – 12:15nn (General Class)

 

e)     Competition proper

                              

Date:     February 15, 2009 (Sunday)

Venue:  Xavier Sports Complex

   Xavier School, San Juan, Metro Manila

Time:    9:00am – 7:00pm

 

 

5.      Tournament Events and Officiating Rules

 

a)  Kata (Beginner, white belt to Orange belt, Heian 1-3 only - Boys Division)

 

6 and 8 years old         WKF Kata rules will apply.   

9 and 11 years old       Aka and Ao will  perform

12 and 14 yrs old         any Heian/Pinan Kata

15 and 17 yrs old         only.  Repetition of Kata

18 years and up           is allowed.  Aka will perform

                                                              first, followed by Ao.   The      

                                     flag  system will be used up

                                                          to finals.

 

b)  Kata (Beginner, white belt to orange belt, Heian 1-3 only - Girls Division)

 

6 and 8 years old         WKF Kata rules will apply.   

9 and 11 years old       Aka and Ao will  perform

12 and 14 yrs old         any Heian/Pinan Kata

15 and 17 yrs old         only.  Repetition of Kata

18 years and up           is allowed.  Aka will perform

                                                              first, followed by Ao.   The      

                                     flag  system will be used up

                                                          to finals.

 

c)  Kata (Intermediate, green belt to purple belt, Heian 4-tekki 1 only – Boys Division)

 

6 and 8 years old         WKF Kata rules will apply.   

9 and 11 years old       Aka and Ao will  perform

12 and 14 yrs old         any Heian/Pinan Kata

15 and 17 yrs old         only.  Repetition of Kata

18 years and up           is allowed.  Aka will perform

15 and 17 yrs old    Kata is allowed.  Flag system   

                                 will be used. WKF Kata rules will

                                 apply.  Shitei Kata will be

             required depending on number

             of entries.

 

18 above  yrs old   Traditional rules will apply.  Heian

                       2 to Tekki 1 Will be used for

                      eliminations (flag system).   

                     Bassai dai, Kanku dai, Jion and

                     Enpi for semi-Finals (score

                     cards).  Tokui (Free) Kata for

                     finals.

 

f)  Kata (Advance level, brown belt to black belt – Girls Division)

 

6 and 8 years old     WKF Kata rules will apply.  Aka

9 and 11 years old   and Ao will perform any 

12 and 14 yrs old     advance Kata.  Repetition of 

15 and 17 yrs old    Kata is allowed.  Flag system

18 above  yrs old   Traditional rules will apply.  Heian

                       2 to Tekki 1 Will be used for

g)  Kata (Seniors Division – 35 years and up)

18 above yrs old   Traditional rules (Shobu Ippon).  Two minutes.

 

Men’s Team          Traditional rules (Shobu Ippon).

                               Three-man  team.

 

f)  Kumite (Girls Division)

 

6 and 7 years old   WKF rules will apply.  Two

8 and 9 years old   minute bouts each.

10 and 11 yrs old

12 and 13 yrs old

14 and 15 yrs old

16 and 17 yrs old

18 above  yrs old   

 

18 above  yrs old   Traditional rules (Shobu Ippon).

                                Two minutes.

 

Women’s Team     Traditional rules (Shobu Ippon). 

                                Three-woman team.

 

6.     Tournament and Dan Examination Rates

 

a)  International Dan examination rates:

Black belt class           -------------   US$25

General class only      -------------          20

Black belt class attendees can attend general class for free.

 

Local Resident Rate is Php 1300 for blackbelts and Php 1100 for General Class. A discount of Php 300 is given to those active ISKF Philippine Members with current ISKF ID Cards.

 

 

 

 

 

     c)  Tournament fees:

 

          One event                   -------------   US$15

          Two events               -------------         $20

          Team ( 3 people/team) ------------       $25/team

 

          Local Resident Rate is Php 350 for one event and php 550 for two events. Team is 850 pesos.

ISKF Philippines, in line with the mandate from Shihan Teruyuki Okazaki and ISKF, is open for membership. Clubs or individuals are welcome to paricipate.
